What Is The Difference Between A Studio Kit, Essentials Kit And Refill Kit?
Our Studio Kit is for customers who want a full painting experience at home.
Our Essentials Kit is for customers who want the essential supplies to paint at home, it does not include an easel to put your canvas on like our Studio Kit. You will have to place your canvas on a flat surface.
Our Refill Kit is for customers who have painted with us before.
How Many Kits Should I Buy For A Date Night?
For a diptych experience, where you paint one half and your partner paints the other half, buy one of our Date Night Kits. The Date Night kits have supplies for 2 participants to paint.
I've Never Painted Before. Can I Really Make My Own Painting?
Yes. Our video tutorials are designed for first-timers. Instructors teach step-by-step so it's easy to follow along, even if you've never picked up a brush.
Will This Experience Create A Mess?
We provide disposable aprons with all of our kits.
How Many People Can Use 1 Kit?
Standard Painting Kits and Junior Artist Kits include supplies for 1 person. Buy a separate kit for each person painting.
Date Night and Duo kits have supplies for 2 people. Order one kit per pair.
What Colors Are Included In The Kit?
The colors are specific to the painting you selected. We pre-mix and label every shade, with extra paint so you have plenty to finish.
Are The Paints Non-Toxic?
Yes. Our paints are non-toxic, water-based, and safe for kids.
What Devices Can I Watch The Video Tutorials On?
Any web-enabled device works. Phone, tablet, laptop, or TV. If you can watch YouTube or Vimeo on it, you can watch our tutorials on it.
How Do I Get Access To The Video Tutorial?
You'll get a personal link to the tutorial by email immediately after you place your order. You can also access it through your order confirmation page.

You get 2 years of access. Stop and come back anytime in that window.

How Do I Play The Video Tutorial?
We send a confirmation email with a link to your tutorial. The link opens a Painting to Gogh page with your video. Press play and you're good to go.
How Long Is The Video Tutorial?
Tutorials run 60 to 120 minutes. Runtimes and a sample clip are listed on each product page. Most people finish in 1 to 2 hours.
Can I Pause, Play And Rewind The Video Tutorial?
Yes. Pause, play, and rewind as you please. The tutorial is meant to be followed at your pace.

Do You Provide Closed Captioning?
Yes. Every tutorial created after 2022 has closed captioning. Email us if you want to confirm captioning for a specific painting.

How Long Will My Shipment Take To Arrive?
We ship from Chicago, IL. Delivery dates vary by location. Shipping estimates show at checkout. We offer Standard and Expedited shipping.
Standard shipping takes 3 to 6 business days, including fulfillment.
Expedited orders placed before 12 PM CST ship the same business day. After 12 PM, they ship the next business day.
How Do I Track My Order?
We email a tracking number as soon as your order ships. Orders ship with UPS or USPS.
Do You Offer Expedited Shipping Options?
Yes. Expedited options show at checkout after you enter your address. Options include Expedited Ground, 3 Day Service, UPS 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air Saver (end of day), and Next Day Air (by 12 PM).
How Much Does Shipping Cost?
Shipping is FREE on orders over $60 to the same address. Orders under $60 ship flat-rate $7.99 throughout the contiguous US (excludes Hawaii and Alaska).
UPS Ground Home Delivery is our default. Expedited options at checkout include Next Day Air and 2 Day Air via UPS.
How Can I Initiate A Return?
Email refund requests to customersupport@paintingtogogh.com, or use the chat button at the bottom right. Include your name, order number, and reason for refund. We'll send next steps once you start a return.
Can I Ship To Multiple Addresses?
Place a separate order for each shipping address.
For larger events shipping to more than 5 addresses, request a team event quote here. We'll create the orders on your behalf and send a single invoice.
Do You Ship To Us Military Addresses?
Yes. We ship to the following US military addresses via USPS Priority Mail:
