Had a lot of fun doing this painting! Great instructional video!
We had fun together doing this painting and it turned out great! We did have to pause a lot as the artist goes fast but that was no problem with the video.
Loved the colors in this painting. While I followed the majority of the video, I made it my own and changed it up a bit. Instead of a couple strolling along the path, I made a little brook with sunlight reflecting off of it. Very happy with the finished project.
What a fun picture to paint! I had the background already painted left over from the Nordic Gnome painting (my fifth version), so my background is lighter than Wendy's. Darker flowers may look better on this light background. But I bought this painting for the flowers and the clear vase. I will paint it again and use this vase for other flowers as I paint spring and summer flowers in the next few months. Thank you Wendy, for another wonderful lesson and expanding my possibilities.
My daughter is 4 and she has had a really tough year, medically. She has always been VERY drawn to art and I have tried to cultivate that any way that I can. I had been looking for art lessons/art therapy when my aunt found and bought this class for us! My baby loved doing this together and it made me so happy to see her happy!!! Axolotls are her favorite thing EVER. She is an axolotl every Halloween and every birthday since she learned to speak. This is so special. I can’t wait to do this again!!! Thank you for this service. This brought us so much joy.
This was a fun painting to do, I bought it to do for fun with a group at work. love painting landscapes! Thanks
This was for a team event with about 25 participants together in a room. The tutorial was clear, but the color mixing takes more time for novices than it does for the artist and I had to pause the video a few times for people to catch up. The flowers also caused a bit of anxiety for folks. All in all in was fun but I'm glad I had done it once by myself ahead of time and taken notes about when I needed a bit more time, so I was prepared to pause the tutorial in those sections for my colleagues.
We did this as Mother / Son activity! We really enjoyed the painting tutorial,
I found the instructional video easy to follow. I would’ve loved a slide that listed brushes needed and paint colors in the very beginning. (That way I could pause and collect the items without going back and reviewing several times). I liked the pacing, learned some technique and I thought the overall instruction was quite good. I want to learn to paint so the instruction about shadows and the use of light was really helpful.
Awesome way to have fun when staying in! I had bought the kit about a month ago and held onto it until a time when we wanted to do something g but didn’t want to go out! It was perfect. My husband had never done an instruction painting before and he enjoyed it!
For two people who do not know how to paint, this was an amazing and fun time spent together creating. The video is immensely helpful and all the materials were perfectly packaged and supplied. I can wait to do our next one!
Our group absolutely love the painting kits. We had a great time.
I am really enjoying my meantime with these paintings. I love that I’m getting better and better. I love ocean views and I love the way. My trees are coming out. I will keep up the good work. Thank you very much Patty. The artist.
This is probably my 12th or 13th painting to gogh painting. This wasn't my favorite design, but I thought it might look good hanging nearby my Queen of The Pasture painting since there's similarity in the flowers and the idea of farm life and a rustic, country vibe being pairable. Painting the background was my favorite part and then the mason jar vase. The yellow leaves were a weird color in this design, and I wish the tutorial did something other than those as filler. Instead of that element, a different type/color of flower added would have been a better choice. Overall, not a bad project. Fairly relaxing to paint. The difficulty level is low on this one, so it's a good intro painting to try if a person has never painted before.
Early to follow along. Lori is a great instructor. So much fun and very satisfying to have completed.
This is the sixth of our Painting to Gogh sessions, which we enjoy doing as a painting party. This was the first time we had Amy as an instructor. This one was the longest of the six. We had to perform a lot of mixing of the paints and at times the instructions were hard to follow, but it was a fun project. Amy talked about her time on a beach where sharks were in the waters, so I added a shark fin that was not part of the instructions. It is fun to ad lib. My wife added a bat instead of a gull.
Nice Spring painting. Trying a variety of paintings hoping to learn some new techniques; great instructor's.
This was so much fun for my husband and I, something new and different. I recommend it for anyone and look forward to our next one.
Loved doing this painting. I get so inspired by these tutorials to paint along with the instructor as well as add my own personality to my picture. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to express ourselves through art.
I’m a first time customer. I found the video tutorial simple to follow. The supplies included in my package were ample. I appreciate the package choice options allowing the customer/artist to choose exactly what supplies are needed: everything or just the basics, or just the tutorial.
Thank you to the instructor for making art so accessible, fun, and rewarding. We loved painting together and are already deciding what to paint next!
I had so much fun painting this!!!! It was an awesome way to spend a Sunday. The instructor for the video did an awesome job. I absolutely love my painting
This wasn’t my first time doing a paint tutorial class but it was my first one at home and I loved it. I am extremely happy with how my painting turned out. I will def use Painting to Gogh again.
