Can I pick which 10 paintings my kid gets?
No, this is a pre-curated bundle of 10 kid-friendly paintings we've hand-picked to span styles, so your kid gets real variety. If you want to choose each painting yourself, check out our Build Your Own Kids Bundle option which lets you pick from the full kids collection.
Do all 10 ship at once?
Yes. One box with all ten 11x14 canvases, one full Junior Artist Kit (kid-sized easel, short-handled brushes, washable acrylic paints, custom palette, aprons), and nine Refill Kits for paintings two through ten. Ships in 2 to 5 business days from our Chicago warehouse.
How long does my kid have to finish all 10?
No rush. Video access for each painting stays in your library for 2 years. Knock a few out on a rainy weekend, or spread the paintings across the next couple of months. Whatever fits family time.
What's a Refill Kit?
A Refill Kit is just the canvas and paints for one painting, plus a disposable apron and palette. No easel, no brushes. The bundle assumes your kid will reuse the easel and brushes from the Junior Artist Kit (painting one), which is why the bundle costs less than buying ten full kits. The Refill structure is how we keep the bundle price down.
Are all 10 paintings taught by the same artist?
No. Each painting in the bundle is taught by a different real artist, broadcasting from their own studio. Same kid-pace format every time, different voices and styles, so your kid picks up tricks from ten painters instead of one. It's the easiest way to figure out what kind of painting they actually enjoy.
How does my kid get access to the video tutorials?
Immediately after your purchase, you will receive an email with a unique link to each of the ten video tutorials. You can play any of them on any internet-connected device. Each link stays active for 2 years. The tutorials can only be streamed, they cannot be downloaded.
How messy is this going to be?
The paint is non-toxic, washable acrylic. Every painting in the bundle ships with a disposable apron and a disposable palette, so cleanup is tossing what your kid used. Nothing to scrub. Paint that lands on skin washes off with soap and water.
What colors are included in the kit?
The paint colors are customized for the specific painting you're doing. We send the exact palette the artist used, so you get the right colors out of the box without mixing. Generous quantities of each color, plenty to finish your painting.
Are the paints non-toxic?
Yes. The acrylic paints we ship are non-toxic and water-soluble. Washes off skin with soap and water, and off your countertop with a damp cloth.
