A study of snow globes
Never ask an engineer or an architect to review your painting. All of these are my paintings. Order finished is left to right, top to bottom. The first one - the architect said it was an oval and should be round, the engineer pointed out the dip in the top. The second one met their approval for looking more like a snow globe. And by then it was after Christmas and I wanted something just wintery in the snow globe. The small one in front is for a friend. Another friend suggested making them into cards. She would buy them and she is an artist herself. This picture receives my highest praise. Wendy is a great teacher and she encourages you to make each painting your own. I love all the variations this picture leaves open for each of us. Please don’t stop at only painting one snow globe. Thank you, Wendy.
